Dr. Douglas Tucker is a double board-certified interventional pain physician who specializes in advanced treatment protocols for the lumbar spine and neck. Combining extensive clinical expertise with a passion for helping patients reclaim their quality of life, Dr. Tucker plays a central role across GARM’s cutting-edge regenerative and longevity medicine platforms and ongoing research initiatives.  Selected specifically by GARM’s Founder, Glenn C. Dr. Tucker’s foundation in regenerative medicine is deeply intertwined with GARM’s legacy. He trained under GARM’s founder, Glenn C. This extensive mentorship prepared him to step into a lead physician role at the GARM Clinic in Roatán, where he spearheads clinical research projects and oversees the delivery of advanced, less invasive regenerative therapies.

Uniquely equipped to navigate both the clinical and organizational facets of modern healthcare, Dr. Tucker holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi School of Business alongside his medical degree. His complete academic and clinical training includes:

  • Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering – Louisiana State University
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) – Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center
  • Residency in Anesthesiology – University of Mississippi Medical Center
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – University of Mississippi School of Business
  • Fellowship in Pain Medicine – University of Mississippi Medical Center

Dr. Tucker is diplomat-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Following his fellowship, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and continues to drive excellence in private practice as a partner at Mississippi's Pain Institute. He is also a published author in the Journal of Clinical Anesthesia and has contributed widely to clinical quality improvement and healthcare practice management.

Bringing a robust background in advanced interventional procedures—such as cooled radiofrequency lesioning for chronic joint and spinal pain —and specialized training in regenerative medicine applications, Dr. Tucker is helping lead GARM's geographic expansion.
